“The Masked Avengers” a Canadian radio duo who are known for prank calling celebrities, recently succeeded with a call to Sarah Palin. After listening to it, how did she not know this was fake??

After Tina Fey helped people remember that Saturday Night Live still came on TV, she played Governor Sarah Palin perfectly on Saturday Night Live. It was only a matter of time before the Alaskan (Is that right?) politician came on the show. To be honest, Tina Fey plays a better Sarah Palin than Sarah Palin.

Investigator Stephen Branchflower, in a report to a bipartisan panel that looked into the matter, found Palin in violation of a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain. In case you missed the cliff notes, Mrs. Palin, potential vice president of this country, had her brother in law fired as a state trooper over the heart ache of a bitter divorce. She was doing her part to hold it down as the family Maverick.

Keith Olbermann has promised to donate $100 to charity every time Mrs. Palin lies in public. He has made good on his word, by dishing out a check for $3700 to the Alaskan Special Olympics Fund. I’m not sure if this is humorous or sad?

So the guy person that hacked into Sarah Palin’s email account may end up getting caught for not taking enough steps to protect their identity. (That last sentence almost sounds like I approve of the hack.) Basically, the guy person didn’t even “hack” into her account. he the person basically just guessed her secret question and redirected the new password to his a different account. The folks over at Wired go into a detailed list of everything the guy person did, but suffice to say, that he will be laying low for a while.

Mrs. Palin’s email has been hacked and [she had a Yahoo acct, are you shocked?] and the contents of her mailbox is sailing through the internet. Gawker has a bunch of screenshots and a slideshow if you are interested in viewing. I feel bad for all of those people who’s contact info has been leaked, but hey, they can blame the Republicans…right?
