I came across the site of Kelly Coats, an artist and musician that is based out of Los Angeles.  Back in 2005, she created this old school toy known as a phenakistiscope, that creates an optical illusion when spun.  Titled the Epic Thriller, the toy reveals the transformation of Michael Jackson through the years, in an oddly fascinating way.  Click here to see it in action.

I was over surfing AyeBeClear when I came across this unreleased track from everyone’s favorite Motown group, the Jackson 5.¬† Entitled That‚Äôs How Love Is, it is from an album entitled I Want You Back: Unreleased Masters, set to be released on November 10 [click here to pre-order it.]

Micheal Jackson’s fans can never say goodbye.

It has been nearly two months since his death and companies are swarming to find creative ways to uphold his memory. Bravado, an international full service music merchandising company, is one corporation that seized the opportunity by collaborating with First Commemorative Mint, Inc. to produce state and collectors coins painted with The King of Pop’s image. The coins will portray different eras in Jackson’s musical career.

However, in this clip, you will see Mos Def performing a short cover of Billie Jean [one of my favorite MJ songs]. While it doesn’t redeem him, it’s a good effort.

Since creating the design in 2002, Alex Aranovich has served as Senior Art Director at Zoo York, and as an Art Director at Studio Number One in Los Angeles. Most recently, he has illustrated automobiles for Lexus magazine, and created identities for brands such as Flight Club, Hall of Fame Ltd, SLBarbier, and Vacation Vinyl.

These shirts have been seen on the likes of Quest Love, an infamous Nike collector/employee who goes by the name RetroKid and Maryss from the Beat Freaks [to name a few]. Maryss holds a special place in my heart, as she had been selected to be one of the backup dancers for Michael Jackson’s UK tour dates.

“This Andy Warhol portrait brings together the uncontested King of Pop Art with the uncontested King of Pop,” said Janet Lehr, acting for the seller. The painting will be on sale at London’s British Music Experience, inside the O2 Arena, where Jackson had been due to perform.

Warhol’s painting of actress Liz Taylor went for $23.7m (¬£14m) in 2007…it will be interesting to see what this one goes for.

It’s no joke, Michael Jackson has a video game and we’re not talking about that old, treasured Sega Moonwalker. GameDaily reported that well before his tragic death, the King of Pop’s production comany, MJJ Productions, was working on a game. He was a gamer and wanted to share that with his fans, it will even feature an MJ speech. Details of what sort of game it is have yet to be announced, but it’s likely going to be of the DDR or Rockband variety. Expect it to hit your local GameStop around Christmas.
