Instagram has officially become every iPhone user’s favorite app for posting quality photos for their friends and followers to see. Yet, as widespread as the popular app is, there hasn’t been a medium to use Instagram on your regular, everyday computer… until now. Google TV

Google has plans to change the way we watch TV. At the recent Google IO conference, they announced Google TV. The new product would enhance the way we currently watch TV be bringing the internet and all it’s resources to our TV screens. The enhancement would make searching for shows and accessing internet footage a lot easier and take it away from just being a desktop experience. Check out the video above for a good example of the product.

We will admit that the Google took a very unique approach to testing out the speed of their browser, Chrome. The gang at Opera, makers of Opera Mini for iPhone, decided that it was great source material for their own brand of internet/browser humor. That a look at the video below for geek humor at its best.

As a side note, Opera Mini for the iPhone has accounted for a cool 70 percent of the browser growth over the month of April, with 2.6 million Apple users downloading the software worldwide.

Free Wi-Fi @ McDonald’s Starts Now

We mentioned that Good ‘ole McDonoald’s would be offering free Wi-Fi at access at 11,500 of its 14,000 U.S. locations. Well that time is now. Actually, it started on January 15th. They used to charge $2.95 for 2 hours. Good way to get customers in the door. I can see this coming in handy if you need to hop on really quick and have some delicious frys in the process.

We first taught you how to do math, and now we are going to teach you how to define. Is that the primary focus of a dictionary? Is it to define or to teach you how to spell? Either way, Google has a dictionary and in typical Google fashion, it is stripped down and bare with nothing but you and the words. You can also search in different languages.

It is not like we didn’t see this coming. I mean, the company did base its business on the words we search. Now it is going to define them. Whereas before, they used them to better fit you with advertisers.

Google Offering Free Wi-Fi At Select Airports

Last month, Google announced that they were offering free WiFi on Virgin America Flights. To help sweeten the deal, they have now announced that they will also be offering free WiFi at 47 airports around the country. The program last from today until January 15, 2010. how sweet is that? Net Neutrality: The Good and The Bad Of It

I am not sure how much you have heard about the whole net neutrality argument, but it is definitely something you should look into and contact the FCC about. There are companies that want to be able to limit and or block your access to certain places. They want to be able to “cap” speeds on certain downloads and whatever “they” see fit. Other companies want everything to be equal. The image below, although a bit over the top, is very close to being accurate should companies like AT&T get their way. Lets all hope, for the internets sake, that the FCC doesn’t allow the money hoarding pockets of these companies to prevent the growth of the internet.
