COMMON Gallery in Harajuku, Tokyo just wrapped up their nine day show entitled  “IKONOCLYSM” with works by artist Rostarr. The gallery was decked with canvas and sculptures by the artist, May 11th- May 20th. Roman Kimin Yang, aka Rostarr,  Brooklyn based artist,  is known for his calligraphy styled pieces and street like feel.

Everybody knows Nigo. Nokia looks to take phone technology to another level with their patent request for the world’s first ever vibrating tattoo. That’s right; the tattoo that will send sensation via magnetic waves to the skin  when the phone rings. Not to exclude those not sold on tattooing, Nokia also included a patch that would provide the same sensation on the skin when a call comes in. Not much information has been released on this “haptic technology” as it’s still in the very early stages of coming to existence.  Whether or not the patent ever becomes a reality for consumers, the level of creativity and innovation is both scary and fascinating.
