Bacon Hot Sauce is a company that started with three good friends who craved the taste of bacon and hot sauce together, to go with their breakfast of potatoes and eggs. Formulated over and over again, they have finally reached what they have considered perfection and want the world to taste it!
Review
We recently received a two pack of Bacon Hot Sauce for review, and I have to be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect. With all of these bacon related products popping up, you can never be sure what is for real and what is done for novelty sake. I assure you folks, after using both bottles over the course of ten days…the sauce is the real deal. It tastes like the perfect mix of bbq sauce, ketchup and red rooster, with a smokey finish. I’m not even joking, tasting this sauce was like tasting wine; the way the flavors were bold and came in waves. We used this stuff on everything in the house, from hot links to top ramen. The flavor went with everything, and I found absolutely nothing it didn’t compliment.
If your mouth is salivating, then no worries, we have something for you! Bacon Hot Sauce is giving away three prize packs to three lucky readers!
Three winners will win one of each; one bottle of Bacon Hot Sauce, one Bacon Hot Sauce tee and then the GRAND PRIZE, three bottles PLUS a t-shirt!

When I 1st opened up the box with the packets of the Zombie Blood, I was immediately impressed by the attention to detail. It had small red fingerprints all over the package, which I assumed was supposed to a facsimile of bloody prints, meaning that someone had gone through hell in a hand basket to bring me the bright green goo. Instant gratitude. Continue Reading
It’s coming up on Hurricane season for some of you, and we at NerdLike want to make sure you are prepared. Here are a few quick gadgets that will definitely come in handy once your power goes out…because don’t worry, it will.
No doubt about it, these guys are most definitely nerds. In this latest Cool Hunting video, they took a visit Brooklyn to tour the Mast Brothers’ bean-to-bar chocolate factory—one of just a handful in the United States. The chocolatiers, Rick and Michael Mast, give a step by step through their uniquely intensive process, D.I.Y machines, and their food philosophy.
There’s something in every child that makes them want to drink strangely colored drinks with cool and disgusting names. I was a sucker for some green ecto cooler as a young lad, but it wasn’t nearly as nutritious as this little biohazard bag of deliciousness right here, cleverly titled, Zombie Blood. Continue Reading
What we’re crushing on now? Baking Bites a food blog for the bakers out there. Whether you’re a rookie or a seasoned baker, this site dishes on everything from the perfect bread to cupcakes. She’s even got a recipe for car-baked cookies.
Car-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, soft
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars. Beat in egg, followed by flour mixture and chocolate chips.
Place dough on a large sheet of wax paper and roll into a log approximately 11-inches long by 2.5-inches wide. Freeze for 2-3 hours, or overnight.
When ready to bake, park your car in the sun on a 100F+ day. Slice cookies into 1/4-inch thick slices and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Place baking sheet on car dashboard (with protective towel underneath) and bake for 2 1/2-3 hours, until done.
If you have a big dashboard (or a friend with another car), you can do two batches at once, otherwise you can save half of the dough for another day.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
