He’s one of the best to ever do it in the world of children’s books. And when we’re talking about t-shirts, Junk Food is tops. So on his birthday, grab a Junk Food Seuss Tee and then take a trip to Seussville.
In honor of Seuss, the NEA kicks off Read Across America events happening across the country this week. It’s the nation’s largest reading celebration! Literacy was near and dear to his heart, so if you’re looking to toast him, this is a great way to start.
Happy Birthday, Seuss.

Apple is trying to rid itself of the rotten ones in its App bunch. The beloved brand is tightening up its restrictions on sexy or suggestive apps, removing them from iTunes.
But according to Chillifresh the developer for The Wobble app, there seems to be something strange in this apple tree. These are the new rules as told to him:
1. No images of women in bikinis (Ice skating tights are not OK either)
2. No images of men in bikinis! (I didn’t ask about Ice Skating tights for men)
3. No skin (he seriously said this) (I asked if a Burqa was OK, and the Apple guy got angry)
4. No silhouettes that indicate that Wobble can be used for wobbling boobs (yes – I am serious, we have to remove the silhouette in this pic)
5. No sexual connotations or innuendo: boobs, babes, booty, sex – all banned
6. Nothing that can be sexually arousing!! (I doubt many people could get aroused with the pic above but those puritanical guys at Apple must get off on pretty mundane things to find Wobble “overtly sexual!”)
7. No apps will be approved that in any way imply sexual content (not sure how Playboy is still in the store, but …)

Extras include career mode, fashion shoot, photographer mode, garment and make-up studios and the Wii balance board catwalk.

It isn’t often that I feel tempted to drop $100 on a toy, or wish I spent money so freely. But the desire is high when we’re talking about a Hello Kitty like no other.
Dr. Romanelli operates with Sanrio for this special MEDICOM TOY production. It makes me think of Meredith’s childhood doll on Grey’s Anatomy, and the old game of Operation. You can get the blue one at Mimoco. I’ll be shamelessly window shopping until they take it down.

When I first saw the story about the old CW goodie Gilmore Girls coming to the big screen. I smiled.
It’s been over three years since the quirky show about a mother and daughter finished its seven season run. I couldn’t get enough of Rory and Lorelai, but I’m not sure if a movie is the right direction. Sex and the City certainly didn’t do fans many favors. And with a sequel on the rise, they may as well bring the show back.
It’s been a while, so if the rumors are true and a movie is in the works. It could go either way. What say you? Should the girls reunite? Or leave us to our DVDs and reruns.
