This year marks the 25th anniversary of our constantly missing friend, Waldo, of “Where’s Waldo” fame. Over the years, he’s racked up 58 million books sold in 30 languages worldwide and is not slowing down. Creator, Martin Handford, sold the property to Classic Media, a New York licensing company that is not playing when it comes to expanding Waldo’s reign.
Check for him at this month’s NASCAR event. Lionel NASCAR Collectables for limited edition die-cast Waldo cars based on David Ragan’s No. 34 car, will feature the Where’s Waldo? On The Beach scene at the Sprint Series race Oct. 28th. Ball so hard, mofo’s wanna fine him, but first they gotta find him.
