Warner Bros. Are Down With Voldemort

Harry Potter fans have had a big year. After more than a decade of books and movies, the final film, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2,” finally hit theaters. So the DVD (comes out Nov. 11) is a big deal, the end of an era in a way. But just a month and a half after it hits shelves, Warner Brothers is pulling all 8 Potter films off the shelves on Dec. 29 until further notice. Yep, their locking em up in Gringotts. Bloody Hell.

Why? Pure greed. WB is looking to increase demand and create a collector’s frenzy by making the DVDs unavailable much like Disney does with its classics. They better stop playing before fans occupy WB. It could happen.
