Two Tone Press

When it comes to paper goods, there’s no denying the awesome that is letterpress. It’s labor intensive, skill heavy and rare. It used to be our main way of printing but because of the work, money and education involved, away it went.

Letterpress is relief printing – a raised surface is inked and pressed into a sheet of paper. It’s a beautiful kind of paper art that technology just can’t replicate. And fans of the craft should check out Michelle Dreher’s Two Tone Press

A former intern of the well-loved Hammerpress, Michelle is a one-woman studio and graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. She does invitations, posters, cards, buttons, business cards, stickers and all that. For more samples, visit Etsy
