Science geek cooking has been all the rage this year, with LudoBites even taking the revolutionary practice mobile. A new shop popped up, this time specializing in my something on my FAVORITE THINGS list….ice cream. Smitten Ice Cream started out on a radio flyer and has recently opened up their innovative parlor. While their claim to fame is their liquid nitrogen created ice cream, the shop itself deserves 5 stars.
The eco-friendly store is wood-panels, an homage to their humble beginnings. The waitress takes your order on an iPad, standing in front of the technicians who are freezing the ice cream right in your face. Definitely a place that I am willing to take a road-trip to visit.
