You might go with Bose for some serious docking systems and speakers, but sometimes you want to be cute too. And Speakal is all about the fun and funky and still manages to deliver quality sound.
The iPom, ($100),  an apple-bottomed  subwoofer with two removable flower speakers is the perfect gift for the girl headed to the dorm this August. It plays music from USB drives, SD cards, and any other sound source with a 3.5mm output.
And if you want to go a little geekier, shoot for the iBoo ($80) It’s definitely on my wish list.
