A Real Working Hoverboard

Somebody get MJ Fox on the phone, because I no longer have to wait until 2015 for my hoverboard. French artist Nils Guadagnin has paved the way for my dreams to come true. However, it must be mentioned that you can not actually stand on his. But that is not the point, and does not deter from my insane amount of joy!

Based on the board floating through simple electromagnetism, we need to install magnets in all the sidewalks around the world for this to come a reality. Not a big deal if you ask me. Plus it will help get rid of those ugly magnetic bracelets people wear.  Get on it Apple, or Cicso, or Google. Somebody make it happen. This is an artist for goodness sake. Use your brainy brains for something other than market capitalization. [via fubiz]
