Later, QuestLove tweeted that he would be taking a small break from Twitter, as it seems NBC wasn’t too ecstatic about his twitpic LOL.¬† What do you think, offensive or comical?

not offended since it was the Black Chef's idea…(we are WAY too sensitive) do you think Mexican's are offended when they serve Mexican Food on Cinco de Mayo or Chinese Cuisine during their New Year? Food is part of our culture…and that would be one of our many cultural dishes…would we be less offended if it was Jumbalya, Catfish or some of our other foods?

It wasn't a huge deal, but it was incredibly stupid given the coverage of similar events…and that all American people eat this kind of food. Clutch the pearls if you want, but black folks did not invent fried chicken. Seriously.

Sonds like a good lunch, especially considering this is inside NBC.

I feel like there needs to be ownership of the menu (as chosen by) in order to lessen the sense that it could be an assumption of stereotypes. Plus, personally, I do like Louisiana food better anyway.
