E3: DeadRising 2.

Capcom was one of the major draws of the West Hall at this year’s E3 Convention. Featuring titles such as Marvel vs Capcom 3 as well as Dead Rising 2, the area was swarming with gamers all day.¬† While you would see the occasional Marvel character walking around, nothing was like the scantily clad, locked up Zombie model in the middle of the showroom floor.

Back to the game. If you remember from the first release, Chuck Greene’s daughter was infected with the zombification virus, and in this game he has the opportunity to fight through a zombie filled city to find the antidote.¬† This game is gore galore. Chuck walks through the different locales of the city, smashing in the faces of the undead, as well as occasionally saving some random human along the way.¬† There are crazy outfit changes [as shown in the vid below], as well as the ability to construct your own weaponry, or wipe out an entire clan with a couple of pulls of the chainsaw.¬†

If you really want to get down to it, the role-playing game not only gives you that horror thrill you seek, but gives you a chance to be inventive and creative while you do it.
