After the debacle that was Windows Vista, Microsoft is looking to bring back consumer confidence with Windows 7. Though I have yet to use it, reviews from the web have been particularly positive. To help launch the new Windows OS, Microsoft is doing some clever marketing through the Fox television series, Family Guy. A date has not been released, but it is rumored that the episode will be commercial-free, but it will be “Brought To You By Microsoft and Windows 7.” So in other words, Microsoft is buying the show out for one episode. The best part, as I know Seth will make it very funny, the show will integrate Windows 7 into its dialogue. Pretty creative Microsoft. However, after doing a little research, this is not the first time this has happened. Bill Gates himself made an appearance on Fraiser.
