A couple of months ago, we brought you the crazy Thai marinade provided by Thai Food at Home. Now, they are back with their equally as tasty Thai Iced Tea .
If you have never had Thai iced tea, then you are in for a treat.¬† It can be prepared a couple of ways, though the most common is with milk, giving it a ‘black and tan’ look.¬† Not only is the taste impeccable, but the presentation is equally as beautiful, with layers of color shown through the glass.¬† The flavor of the tea is a very sweet, citrus/orange taste, perfect for a warm day or even a prelude to dessert.
Thai Food at Home was nice enough to send me some of their Thai iced tea to brew at home, and while I am typically not a fan, I couldn’t resist as I could smell it’s sweetness through the packaging once it arrived.¬† I brewed it in my iced tea maker, and then chose to add half & half [one of the suggestions by Thai Food at Home] and poured it over ice.¬† It was sooo delicious!
Not only is the tea high quality, but so is the packaging, as Thai Food at Home uses tea bags from Certified Organic Processors, which means that they are not bleached with any chemicals…making your tea as pure as possible. And if you are not a fan of milk, or lactose intolerant, you can always serve the tea over lemon juice for a nice, refreshing beverage.
