I kept my comments about Sprint’s decision to add a mail-in rebate to the Palm Pre to myself yesterday (idiots). However, it appears that Best Buy has come to the rescue.¬† They are going to take care of the rebate for you at the register. With that said, my official recommendation is for you to buy your Palm Pre at Best Buy. So with that said, SPRINT what are you doing? Why the MIR? Talk to me? You putting the Pre up against the iPhone adn the G1, which are the two best phones out there right now. I really hope there is some sort of secret that you are holding back to justify such a boneheaded decision. I really love the potential of the Pre, but pricing it $100 more than the competition (before rebate) just doesn’t seem to be the best way to get customer to buy one.¬† *steps down from soapbox*
