Dubbed the first phone with social skills, the new Motorola Cliq looks to both revive the struggling Motorola cell phone division, and bring some new flavor to the Android market. Unlike the HTC UI, the Cliq’s “MotoBlur” instead uses widgets to help you navigate through the system. The “social” aspect comes form the fact that you update your Twitter and Facebook pages right from the Home Screen.
Launching on T-Mobile on November 2, the Cliq looks to be a nice extension of the Android world while still allowing you to add apps form the Android market. You can pre-order the phone for $200 between Oct 19 and Nov 1.
As with all most cell phone carriers these days, a data plan is required.
