iPhone 3.0 Software Is Out!

As the past week has been all things iPhone, here is the last little bit. I have a few important iPhone related updates:

1. AT&T Loosens iPhone 3GS Upgrade Eligibility: If you’re an AT&T customer that isn’t eligible for a phone upgrade yet, but will be eligible in July, August or September, good news. You’re eligible starting Friday, June 19. Looks like people complained enough for them to even make a video. (lol)
   
   
2. iPhone software 3.0 is out now. Just hit your Check For Update button.
3. Apple has contacted UPS and instructed them to hold back on delivering the new iPhone 3GS before the actual release date (June 19). BOOOOOO!

Gizmodo is reporting that some users are experiencing some issues with the upgrade to 3.0 . It appears to be an issue with Apple’s authentication server. They also have a pretty thorough review of the 3.0 software. soem of the key points being Push Notifications, Mail, Find My Phone, adn the Spotlight Search. Take a look for yourself at some of the goody goodness.
