Inspiring Color Tie Dye Dress [Review & Giveaway]

Inspiring Color is made up of a mother/son team that specializes in custom orders. All of the items featured in their shop are dyed on or handmade with 100% high-quality cotton, silk or bamboo garments, fabric and accessories. While not only providing beautiful and unique garments, the shop is also a way to help fund Zach’s [the son] budding violinist career.

Inspiring Color sent me one of the signature pieces from their shop, the Sunset/Sunrise dress. Shown below, it is a beautiful dress, with a regency-style empire waist and gentle butterfly cap sleeves. As you can tell from the title, the dress comes in two options. Sunrise begins with gold at the bottom through deep purple on top; while Sunset begins with deep purple at the bottom, finishing in gold at the top.

The dress I received was the Sunrise, and is vibrant and stunning.  Initially trying it on, it was very very comfy, yet flattering at the same time.  The empire waist made the dress fit snug up top, yet there was plenty of room to move around through the hips and legs.  The dress is also very versatile, and can be worn as a beach cover up or out shopping.  The material is nice and light, perfect for summer weather.  The only issue I had was that the small was a bit roomy for me, as I have a petite frame.  Nothing that is detrimental, just be aware when ordering that the sizing is a tad bit big.

    I really like the sunset inspired dress because of the bright vivid colors towards the top of the dress. I think this would be flattering for every skin tone.

    I like the sunrise. I admire bright colors and feel fun and artsy when I wear these colors. I like the sunset too, but I think most people that wear tiedie have bright funky personalities!

    SUNSET!!! or SUNRISE!!! I love tye dye must be the old Hippie in me. First of all the designer is from Montana…My parents have a house there:) Second the fact that it is a Mom and Son team making them i think is sooo cool. Welltye dye isnt as easy as people make it sound…But really if I won I would like the Sunset in a medium please..
