Hollow Book Flask Safe Giveaway!

lincoln-1

Pommes Frites is an Etsy shop that takes forgotten items and turns them into awesome & useful things to have and wear. Everything in the shop is handmade by Miss. Kristen P. Texas.  One of her specialties is her hollow book safes, in which she takes a vintage book and turns it into a secret place to stash some of your valuables.  The books are hand carved, with the pages glued together but otherwise, left in tact. The hollow area is not lined in any way!  After carving with an x-acto, she takes the edges and sands them down with a dremel for a smooth finish, and then finished with a sealant.

The book is completely discreet, which means that it can be left in your bookshelf or laid out on your coffee table.  Check out what it looks like closed:

That is a pretty cool thing; something you only see in movies! Should make something that looks like a kitchen item that's really a safe.

They make small devices to store passwords. This kind of safe would be a great place to store those devices, which look like smartphones.

Easy peasy — VCR safe. Probably could even fashion a secret compartment in there as most cases have some extra room.

I agree with a previous comment that a cookbook safe would be good since it could be kept in the kitchen away from the usual hiding places except for the cookie jar.

How about a kidproof safe thats not all that heavy, but would be secure from childrens eyes. Something that could be used to hide adult toys maybe, or xmas presents or something. Reasonably large but light enough to move around easily. I'm not worried about a burgler stealing my stuff, but I am worried about prying eyes that are already in my house :)
