Healing House Tea [Review & Giveaway]

tea.

Raised by a healer, the owner of Healing House Tea has not only trained for over 20 years in her trade, but was home grown in the natural ways of healing the body through aromatherapy and herbs.  For her, this is not just a business, it is her life.  Living in a simplistically beautiful way, she raises her own hens, grows her own food and always decides to choose happiness.

Now I don’t know about you, but I am a constant sufferer of migraines.¬† The dirty, icky not so nice ones seem to always find me…and stick around for days at a time.¬† No pills have been able to kick them, I have been using the ‘wait it out’ method for years.¬† Immediately upon finding Healing House, I saw a tea that caught my eye; the Gentle Head Tea. This tea was created by God. Okay, okay let me not get to that part and tell you about the tea itself [before I tell you how it saved my life last week].

Gentle Head Tea

This tea is a careful blend to gently ease away headaches and migraines. It is recommended making a weak cup and sipping it slowing, a little at a time. You can also make a strong cup then divide into two cups and dilute. Headaches should ease within the hour. Migraines usually take 2 cups and are eased by the next morning. Can be sweetened with honey or sugar and contains no caffeine.

TRUE STORY:¬† Three days before I was set to leave on a plane to New York, I felt a migraine coming on.¬† If you are a sufferer of migraines, you know that the headache plus the cabin pressure is ALL BAD.¬† Anyhow, I went running around my house looking for the tea that Healing House so generously sent me for a review.¬† I steeped a strong cup in my Bodum single cup brewer, started sipping, and waited. Roughly 40 minutes after I started drinking the tea, I actually began to feel some relief.¬† Was it completely gone? No.¬† Was it manageable with a noticable difference? YES.¬† I think that if I would’ve had the Head Spell tea, it honestly would’ve knocked it right out.

One of my favorite parts about this shop is the versatility.¬† Not only does Healing House offers teas to heal illness, but they also offer a wide range of Children’s teas to address issues that hard on the young ones, such as tummy aches and bedtime.¬† There are also a few teas to spice up your life a little bit, with a tea to help recall dreams and another one that improves yoga sessions.

Ok, this sounds ridiculously cool and deicious.

What about that pregnancy prevention tea? I heard it was extinct due to over use, but I feel like this place would carry it.

I need this tea for my fiance. I hate to see her curled up into a ball with a pillow over her head rocking back and forth when she has her migraines.

I have always been a fan of the white tea flavor.
