Before YouMail and before Twitter, there was this thing called Grand Central* (introduced to me by Inny Vinny). A pretty  awesome web app that allowed you to route all of your calls through one phone number. However, it was only opened to a limited number of users. Well Google bought them and closed them down about two years ago. Lifehacker has a full rundown of all of their services.
