Google is getting into the Social Media space in its own way. They are announcing Google Favorite Places. Basically, Google has identified the 100,000 most visited businesses via Google Local. Each business is receiving a window decal with a unique QR code that you scan with your phone to read reviews, star the business as your own favorite and more. Favorite Places also has a website were you can check out what Google classifies as a “favorite” in your area.
