The Walt Disney Co. is buying super hero giant Marvel Entertainment for about $4 billion, leaving over 5,000 treasured characters in the hands of Disney.
Marvel still intends to honor movie contracts with Paramount, Sony and Fox, so no worries to you “Spider Man” fans. But eventually, Disney plans to have exclusivity on the big screen too.
So what does this mean for the future X-Men, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and so many others? Who knows. Let’s just hope they don’t end up voiced or portrayed by the likes of Miley Cyrus and friends.
Wow, I hope they don’t clean up any of the Marvel violence or cussing that we have all grown to love.
