Chalkboard Speech Balloons [Review & Giveaway]

By Jazzy

Off The Wall Expressions are a vinyl design company specializing in high quality vinyl graphics. If you aren’t familiar with using vinyl in the home, you need to be! It’s the new age of interior design, allowing you to instantaneously change the look of a room. You can use vinyl to decorate, make a statement, motivate, inspire, amuse, and organize any area. Vinyl can be applied to any smooth surface such as walls, windows, wood, glass, refrigerators, plastic, bathtubs, picture frames, and many more.

When I moved into my new home, Off The Wall sent us a set of their Chalkboard Speech Balloons. My son fell in love with these and starting searching the house for places to put them.

We chose the area above his desk, thinking this would be a great place to note homework assignments and his practice schedules. We removed the vinyl, read the instructs and had them up in less than 10 minutes. It was kind of like applying one of those temporary tattoos [don't act like you've never done it].

As you can see from the pic in the gallery, the vinyl also works like a chalkboard. Off The Wall includes one piece of chalk for you to use, and the removal is uber easy. You can do it with a paper towel, a kitchen napkin…anything! It also wipes completely clear, unlike some of those dry erase boards that leave a color residue over time.

Off The Wall is giving away a set of their Chalkboard Speech Balloons [valued at 15.00] to one lucky NerdLike reader.

TO ENTER: Browse Off The Wall’s shop and leave a comment below telling us what your favorite vinyl is.

EXTRA ENTRIES: Tweet, Digg, Stumble this giveaway and leave your status update or username in a separate comment below.

For a third entry, leave a quote you would like to see made into vinyl in Off the Wall’s shop.

The giveaway winner will be chosen on July 21st, 2009.  Good luck!

This is a great etsy store! By far the one I like the most that you have showcased! I like all of the items they have! But…if I had to chose one…it would probably be the “dreams do come true” one over the crib…or the definition of a boy! They should make a funny headboard one though that says something like “guess who’s sleeping on the couch tonight!” When that happily ever after isn’t so happy!

OOOH, I’m a sucker for cherry blossoms, but the dandelion one is SO cool!!! I wouldn’t mind a few of the Daney birds to confuse the cats, either.

personally, i’d like to see more large decals for decor, and maybe some small packs for the kids to mess around with and place at their own choice.

I can’t possibly pick just one!! I like so many of them! But I can narrow it down to a top three: Cinderella goes to the ball, chalkboard tree and personalized guitar. They all would be great in a kids room. I also liked the cherry blossom branch too=)
