So apparently, there’s this guy Rob; and he’s camped out next to a pay phone in the middle of nowhere, just waiting for your call.  According to his video, he will try to answer every call,to complete the Phone Box Experiment.

I logged into my Google Voice account, and used the free money they gave me to make the call.  At .02 per minute, I had about 5 minutes of talk time, much more than I thought I needed.  I called the number in the late evening, let it ring over 25 times….no answer.  I then tried back in the early morning, same drill…no answer.  Maybe he left town?
