Microsoft has confirmed that its next version of Office will be available in June of next year. At one point or another all of us have used Office and with all the enhancements available in the beta we shared with you a few weeks ago, I am pretty sure will be on the Office train in June. Mac folks, however, may have to wait a little longer. Although they plan on releasing a version for you, a date has not been confirmed.
You would think that this would have changed by now, but Microsoft plans on releasing six different version of Office 2010; Starter, Home and Student, Home and Business, Standard, Professional and Professional Plus. There will also be a free version that is bundled with new PCs that will only include Word and Excel and it will contain advertisements. Office 2010 will be available for Windows XP through the current Windows 7.
