Awhile back, I came across these nifty little bowls called Measure Up Bowls. Used for accurate measurements as well as portion control, the bowls are a perfect addition to anyone’s kitchen.¬† Whether you are on a restricted diet, or can’t stand using measuring bowls, these bowls make cooking and preparation a breeze.

The Measure Up Bowls are microwave and dishwasher safe porcelain portion bowls that are a great healthy lifestyle tool. They TAKE THE GUESSWORK OUT OF CALORIE COUNTING. The Measure Up bowls can help you lose weight more quickly and easily – but here is the difference. The Measure Up Bowls are designed to help you keep the weight off. They are designed with the intent of permanently changing your lifestyle habits- not to just be another quick fix.

The bowls come either individually or in a dual set, each one with separate measurements.  The smaller of the two is ideal for smaller portions, while the larger goes up to 2 cups.

bowl3cLGPersonally, I hate using measuring cups, so these bowls were the perfect solution for my cooking needs.  The wide mouths of the bowls allowed me to pour right in, without being concerned.  It was perfect for separating out eggs, as well as baking flour.  The smaller bowl was perfect for measuring out fruit for my kids lunches, to make sure they were getting the accurate servings for the day.

Measure Up Bowls wants to give one of you a dual set of their bowls, a $30.00 value!

I'd give the big one to the spouse to limit his cereal portion. I swear, he eats half the box in one sitting!

Thanks for the giveaway…I am terrible at not measuring out ingredients and "guesstimating" instead, so these graduated bowls will greatly improve my cooking outcomes.

My mom lost 20 pounds last year, and portion control is how she did it! She used a measuring cup, but these bowls would be great for her.

I would gift them to my family, because we all need some portion control (but it's just too hard when we have ice cream).

portion control, really keep track of how much I'm eating (which has to be more than I think)

I would use them to measure cooking ingredients. Using a measuring cup is always messy. The measuring cup is either too large or too small.

I desperately want to lose 50 lbs in 2010. I've lost 25 lbs in 2009 but it was difficult and I realize that it has a lot to do with portion control. My doctor says if I lose weight its very likely my Type 2 diabetes will go away and I'm determined to live healthier this coming year.

I would use them to help myself eat the actual amount I am suppose too. Many Cereal & stuff list calories by the cups ect.
Many people don't know that when they fill a big bowl they are getting 5 times that amount & over half of thier daily calories.
So eating the listed "serving" amount is key when watching calories & Colestrol too!
