Update: As on today, 11/17, the Sidekick is now back on sale at T-Mobile. The Sidekick LX 2009 will be $149.99 with a two-year contract and the Sidekick 2008 will be $49.99 with a two-year contract. Does anyone really want one now. There is sooo much new hotness out there.

I was hesitant to post this, as I don’t think anyone over the age of 16 uses a sidekick anymore. With that being said, there is/was an outage over the weekend and if you call T-Mobile and pitch a fit, they may be willing to give you a credit.

Actually a lot of people are still using the sidekicks (that are over the age of 12) me being one of them. This is a huge pain in the butt! I haven't had contacts,internet, email..etc..since Thursday. I get text messages from people and I have no idea who they are because it just shows the phone number. I did speak to TMobile today and they were able to credit my account 35 bucks, with that said I don't think it justifies anything. I have lost ALLLLL my phone numbers, and I am currently applying for jobs and was unable to call an office for my scheduled phone interview due to this..what a loss.
Yeah…I am well over the age of 15. I really like my sidekick (plus Im in a contract…soooooo) this outage is the suck. I'm still having issues.
Awwww shut up & grow up. Only teeny-boppers should be using Sidekicks anyway. lol. U don't have to call & pitch a fit. They're giving u cry babies credit anyway. It's not Tmobile's fault. They don't make the devices or operate the Danger network that the phn operates on. Call Microsoft and cry ur eyes out. And grow up & upgrade to a Blackberry (an adult's phn).
I am sure you work for Tmobile! If Tmobile sells the phones and are responsible for the service we are provided then it IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO GIVE CREDIT AND MORE!!!
Hey I am 23 and I am very much so an adult. I have a Blackberry as well and I hate it… I love my sidekick. It's just way better set up. I think any phone device a 12 year old can have, even a blackberry. I know of a three year old who plays with a blackberry. So dont even start to hate on Sidekicks. And having a Blackberry makes you more of an adult. I understand many found it a useful phone for business. But at the end of it all.. it basically all do the same basics…Phone, text, picture, camera, video, aim, msn, yahoo, email setup, web browser. ooohhh and for us youngsters we have social networks such as myspace, facebook, and twitter.
OOOOHH PS I AM *U*K*N* PISS about this data outage… I have no contact and this is affecting and destroying my life…..
I know that people over the age of 16 use Sidekicks. It is just that sidekicks are soo last spring!
But all you sidekick owners should be excited, T-Mobile is giving you a month of free data service.
Ex Sidekick user- It's obvious you are under the age of 12 judging by your spelling. Um you are on a computer now and you can actually spell out your words on a full keyboard. (OMG!) Duh, You're a complete idiot.
