When you get to the top of your game, not only do you have to keep climbing, you have to give back. Wyclef is doing just that. Known for his humanitarian efforts just as much as the infamous Lauryn Hill affair, Clef is about charity. So it makes since he would team up with Timberland for the Yele Haiti Collection to benefit his very own Yele Haiti Foundation
Wyclef’s org is a grassroots movement that builds global awareness for Haiti and aims to restore it through programs in education, sports, the arts and environment. For every Yele Haiti boot sold, a $2 donation will be made and $1 for the shirts. Plus, the tees were designed by Haitian art students from the FOSAJ Art School in Jacmel, Haiti. ((And they are pretty fresh, I must say)). It’s the holiday season, don’t just be about getting, give a little too.
