This is the last segment from the 1958 Disneyland TV Show episode, Magic Highway USA, which takes a look into the future of transportation. Conveniences such as larger highway signs, glowing lanes, and disconnecting subway cars are just some of the many great suggestions displayed in the video. This shows that Walt Disney was ahead of his time and he seemed to look forward to the evolution of transportation and the progression of technology. These ideas remind me of Honda’s Dream Series released last year that delved into the thought of how transportation will be in 2088.
