Review: Pong iPhone Case

Pong Case 5

At any given time, you can find a study that tells you how dangerous cell phone radiation can be. At the same time, you will find something that tells you the exact opposite. As in most cases like these, it is always better to err on the side of caution. With that said, I present to you the radiation reducing Pong iPhone 3G and 3GS case.

Pong Case

According to Pong Research, the Pong case is the ONLY case tested by FCC-Certified laboratories to reduce cell phone radiation while maintaining full signal strength. The case reduces 85% of “hotspot” cell phone radiation and 60% of cell phone radiation overall. Basically, the case attracts the radiation and pushes it up and away from the user.

The case looks nice, but I am sure the black looks a little cleaner (They sent us the green case to review). The case is made of silicone, which makes it feel a little slippery in comparison to the previous rubber case I had on my phone. It also has a radiation reducing Pong GOLD PCB module integrated in the back. Priced at $60, it is a little expensive, but if it does what it claims to do, it is definitely worth it.
