Myna

Myna, a free online audio editor, looks to be the online equivalent to Audacity. It appears to be flash based, but allows you to layer, edit, record, arrange, and mix multiple tracks. As with most audio editors, Myna is set-up with tracks layered horizontally. It includes a nice sized loops library, and also allows you to import your own.

This could definitely come in handy if you needed to edit out some parts of a song, or create a quick BG track for your video how-to.  I will say that I was a bit disappointed to see that you couldn’t record while the music played. It obviously has its limitations, but then again, it is free on the internet. I put a song together for you guys, but because I couldn’t record to the beat, I gave up. (it was actually really bad)

In order to save your masterpiece, you have to sign-up for a free account on their site.

Here is a quick video from their site:

If you get some free time today, make sure you stop by and check it out. It is pretty cool. Put in the right hands, i cn see some nice music coming out of this.
