Awhile back, we featured a new sneaker company for kids, by the name of U*neaks. U*Neaks are sneaker style shoes with clear side panel windows and specially designed socks that allows kids to continuously customize their shoes [by simply changing their socks]. Pair the shoes with any of U*neaks’ double-sided decorated socks for footwear that’s fun and full of personality.
U*Neaks was nice enough to send my little [big] man a pair of their Camel Rev kicks and five pairs of their socks. Check out the unboxing, and his first impression reactions below.

After we shot the vid, Zion spent another 30 minutes mixing and matching his socks, looking at the side panels in the mirror and choosing more socks online for me to buy LOL. Unlike most brands, these are a perfect fit for both the grown up and the kiddo. For the little ones, these are versatile, colorful and trendy. For the parents, these are easily adaptable, and most importantly in this economy…recession proof. At roughly 30 bucks a pair, these are easy on the wallet; and with the different socks, they can match your child’s wardrobe every single day, without having to spend on additional pairs of shoes.
The only criticism both Zion and Daddy had was they both wished they had a glow in the dark element. Interesting concept.

I’m definitely feelin’ the Camel Rev style Uneaks. My son is 3 years old and would love to be able to create the different designs through his shoes from day to day. I like to dress my boys alike and this shoe give me the opportunity to add the different unique designs to go with their outfits. Great product and hott advertising Zion!
Showed my son, Deuce, and he definitely loves the Black & Red boomerangs. They are pretty cool, since they are black he can wear them to school with his uniform and on weekends with some cool jeans.
He loved the extreme sports socks and the Madagascar ones. And he made sure to let me know “I’m not wearing NO pink socks!”
I might have to check these out for back to school.
