Well it is official. Folks have been going back and forth about the date for weeks, but Sprint finally set the date., The Palm Pre will launch on June 6, two days before the big Apple iPhone 3.0 event and most likely product refresh. It is going to cost you $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate. Really? A mail-in rebate? But I digress. Anyway you will have to sign up for a two-year Simply Everything plan. They start at $70.
