United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is calling on citizens globally to plant 7 Billion trees. That’s one tree per person. While most of us don’t live in the rainforest, that doesn’t mean that we are not able to help the cause.

The UNEP has partnered with mokugift to make it easy for everyone to plant a tree. Here is how it works:

1. select the country where the tree is planted.

2. Plant the tree for you or your friend [its like sending an E-Card] It’s $1.00 per tree.

3. Mokugift plants the real tree.

For every tree you plant, you will be entered into a drawing for a 20.00 Gift Card to Target. The giveaway will run until May 1, 2009.

    Zion and Sevyn planted 2 trees each…yay…they are green and eco friendly already!
