I was recently ‘followed’ [I hate that term] by waffles + falafels on Twitter and was sent their Spring 09 look book to go through. If you are not familiar with the edgy clothing line, waffles + falafels is a brand that believes that ‘real girls do real things.’ Every model they use is creatively involved in the line in some way, projecting a true to life depiction of their market. Another interesting company fact is that their marketing is unique, in the fact that they sell exclusively through social networking using viral marketing techniques. They have often been described as the Babysitter’s Club meets Wu-Tang Clan, and I like it.
