NASA has officially accounced that the Phoenix Lander on Mars has actually touched Martian water. Although it may not seem to be a big deal, it could lead to discoveries of life on Mars. Most likely, the life will consist of what are known as Extremophiles. However, this discovery also opens up the possibility of other forms of life.
