The Associated Press is reporting the comedian/actor Bernie Mac passed away early Saturday morning due to complications with pneumonia. He has been in the hospital for the last few weeks dealing with the sickness and at one point was reported as doing well. I first remember Bernie Mac when when he appeared on Def Comedy Jam.
Bernie Mac had his own sitcom, “The Bernie Mac Show,” from 2001-2006 and stared in several movies including the Ocean’s 11 series and Charlie’s Angels. Mac was born Bernard Jeffrey McCullough on Oct. 5, 1957, in Chicago. He grew up on the city’s South Side, living with his mother and grandparents. His grandfather was the deacon of a Baptist church.
In his 2004 memoir, “Maybe You Never Cry Again,” Mac wrote about having a poor childhood – eating bologna for dinner – and a strict, no-nonsense upbringing.
Bernie Mac will definitely be missed.

So sad. He will be missed.
And that was a great video post. “I tried to call you but the line was busy”. LOL
RIP Bernie
