There’s a little rumor circulating on the internet that iTunes will soon be moved to a subscription service, at 129/per year.
“Under the new service, Apple would offer unlimited access to half of its iTunes Store–as of an October launch–for $129 a year, or $179 for an iTunes/MobileMe combo deal, in the U.S. only. If you’re already a MobileMe subscriber, you’ll only have to fork over $99.99 for the subscription service..”

Not to be skeptical, but it will probably be the crap music that’s offered within the guidelines of the ‘plan’, and just another way for Apple to gain buy in. But then again, what do I know.
