Yes, it is true. Although the CGI film did well enough to warrent a sequel, there has been much talk between Imagi and Warners to do a better “re-invention” (newest Hollywood buzzword) of the TMNT’s, in a live action film‚Äìlike what was done with Batman. Back to basics, back to the origin and the intro of the Shredder, etc‚Ķthere have been talks, trips to Northampton to talk to Mr Laird, and discussions with the original “first” TMNT film director Steve Barron to come back and do it right‚Äìbut no official word yet‚Ķwill keep you posted. Hmm…I may get flamed for this, but I’m not too excited. Not that I’m not a fan of TMNT but so many wrong versions of this film have come out that I’m not sure I can handle getting excited to fall flat on the face of disappointment.
Reading this i finally took a break from my job.
