So I was searching the internet for a quick way to search for things via my phone without having to do too much interaction. I tend to drive a lot and though I should not text and things while I drive, I will every once in a while.
So I found this thing called Google SMS, that I think we all can benefit from. Basically, you send a text of what you are searching for to 466453 (‘GOOGLE’ on most devices) and they will text you back the answer. So say for instance you want the weather for Pacoima, CA. All you have to do is text ‘weather pacoima, ca’ and it will reply with the current temp as well as a 3-day forecast. This works for movies, postal codes, directions, local shops, and a bunch of other stuff.
What I did was I just added Google Text ’466453′ to my address book and when I need a quick bit of info, I shoot of the text and keep it moving.
Give it a try and let us know what you think. Just for fun text for the movies in your zip code and see what happens.
NOTE: You do not have to d/l the application, you can just send a text mesage.

I tried it and it worked. Thats hot!
