Comcast Limiting Your Internet??

Well looks like it is going to be official. If you use Comcast as you ISP, then you will be limited to approximately exactly 250GB of traffic. Comcast says it is an attempt to thwart bandwith hogs. I think it is so they can charge you more money. I will let you decide. Here is a listing of what you can do with that amount of space:

    Send 50 million emails (at 0.05 KB/email)
    Download 62,500 songs (at 4 MB/song)
    Download 125 standard-definition movies (at 2 GB/movie)
    Upload 25,000 hi-resolution digital photos (at 10 MB/photo)

This isn’t effective until the first of October. I hear some ISPs are capping usage at 5 GB. Based on their latest analysis, most customers only use between 2 to 3 GB per month. I often wonder if I am a typical user?
